Custom plantation shutters are the most permanent window treatment we offer — interior shutters measured to the exact opening, mounted like fine millwork, and built to last for decades.

They earn their keep in Maine: solid panels add real insulation in winter, the louvers give precise light and privacy control year-round, and there are no cords or fabrics to wear out. We build shutters for standard windows as well as bay windows, arches, cafe-style half heights, and sliding doors — with blackout-friendly designs for bedrooms.
